As women enter their 30s, this is typically when the first signs of aging begin to show. The first appearance with fine lines and pigment begins to surface. Sunscreen, Retinol, antioxidants such as Vitamin C, and a good moisturizer will still be the foundation of your skin care regimen. The moisturizer can now be fine-tuned to deliver more anti-aging and anti-inflammatory components. For example, Sente is a product containing Heparan Sulfate Analog. This patented repairing molecule boosts the skin’s immune response to inflammation and promotes repair from within, aiding with redness, pigment, moisture, and anti-aging.
Regarding lasers and Procedures for aging in your 30s, this is typically when Botox and fillers are introduced to prevent those static lines from forming and replenish the first signs of volume loss. Fillers can also be used to enhance the appearance of features to give an improved aesthetic look. Pico laser, one of my favorite lasers, has three laser wavelengths and can be used on all skin types to treat pigmentation, acne scarring, and skin rejuvenation of fine lines via collagen stimulation. Pico can also be combined with Fraxel Thulium laser to really target pigment and give the skin a youthful glow. Continuing to address any red with the Vbeam laser and yearly IPLs for pigment, red, and skin rejuvenation are always recommended. All these lasers stimulate collagen production, thereby counteracting the skin aging process.
