Restylane was the first wrinkle correction and volume correction filler using hyaluronic acid gel. Restylane gel corrects fine, moderate and severe facial wrinkles and folds of all types, from the down-turned corners of the mouth to deep nasolabial folds. Perlane, a higher density gel filler is an ideal mid-level dermal filler and is often used as a base with Restylane layer on top when a more substantial correction is needed.
Restylane is used not only to fill lines and creased, but to also increase fullness of the lips, define the lip line, fill scars and plump up facial areas that have lost their youthful appearance. One very common instance of “volume loss” is the area under the eyes. Under eye hollows create a worn-out, tired look. Restylane or other dermal injection products are instant solutions.
Because Restylane is made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid and is fully and safely biocompatible, allergy testing is not required.
